Trinidadians and Tobagonians USA was formed to network among nationals residing abroad so as to provide help where it was genuinely needed and to assist in promoting the culture of our beautiful twin island republic.
Since its founding in 2010 the organization has, among other things, donated wheel chairs to those in need and hosted a series of community based events. These public ceremonies were aimed at building awareness about Tringobanians who have made contributions to the social, cultural, economic and political landscape of their country both home and abroad. The organization has observed that all too often the important works of individuals are not recognized during their lifetime.
Another noteworthy aspect of these events is that performers of all ages are given opportunities to showcase their craft. Ultimately the TnT-USA organization believes in great importance of family in society and in the upholding and propagation of good family values. Trinidadians and Tobagonians remain part of one family – whether they reside in San Fernando, Trinidad or in South Ozone Park, New York.
